Carole Horlacher

Board Member

Carole Horlacher graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. She is a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. Carole was an office manager for a Nashville architectural firm for 35 years before her retirement.

Carole spent ten years as a volunteer for a local humane society and five years as a volunteer for Williamson County Animal Center. She was the co-recipient of the Darrell Waltrip Hometown Hero Award for the month of November 2014 for volunteer services done at Williamson County Animal Center. She was nominated to the WAS board by a former director to be a representative of the WCAC volunteers. She says people that visit the shelter sometimes tell her how sad it is for the animals but she says what would be sad is if the shelter had no volunteers. Carole serves as Board Secretary for Williamson Animal Services.

Carole lives in the Grassland area of Williamson County with her husband, David, and Snickers an adopted 7 yr. old Chihuahua mix and Charlie a 2 yr old border collie adopted from Williamson County Animal Center.
