In Michigan, he was Treasurer of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Washtenaw County for 17 years and a loaned executive for United Way during their annual fund raising campaigns.

You have no doubt heard the expression that begins with “behind every successful man”. Andy’s wife Karen has been an active animal volunteer for many years. It was through her interest in helping animals that Andy became involved. They -- along with their dog Tara -- call Williamson County home – and cannot imagine a home without animals. Their love of animals has taken them to see wolves and grizzly bears in Alaska, visit mountain gorillas in Rwanda, live among elephants in Botswana and discover creatures great and small in Kenya and South Africa. They choose to make a difference in their community and beyond – and feel blessed to have the opportunity to do so.
